Although as a courtesy to our neighbours training circuits are not permitted at Deanland there has been a micro-light training school based from Deanland since the year 2000. The school, Southern Light Flyers, is operated by Keith Mitchell and has trained many pilots over the years. Keith has a 3 axis aircraft, the Ikarus C42, available for training. All circuit training is carried out at other local airfield such as Headcorn, much more can be found from his web site.
