Visitor Parking:

Fixed Wing: Please park in the mowed area to the south east of the runway where signed, there are tie down anchors for up-to 6 aircaft in this area.

Helicopters: Remain parked on the heli-pad 20 meters north of the wind turbine.

ALL visitors, INCLUDING THOSE FOR MAINTENANCE to 'book in' and pay their landing fee without fail and with NO EXCEPTIONS.

LANDING FEE - Private flights £10 per movement. Aircraft for maintenance £5 NO EXCEPTIONS . Commercial Flights & Helicopters by arrangement with David Brook on 07785 316368.

PARKING FEE - £5 per night. Aircraft in for maintenance will only be charged the parking fee 3 days after the work has been completed.

Payments to be made at the time of landing in the small office marked 'C'. Envelopes are provided to write the date and your registration number on. There is a 'letter box' in the wall of the office for the envelope to be posted. When open, Cristal Air will book their customers in and out and landing fee will be added to your maintenance invoice.

Circuits - Runway 06 Left Hand / Runway 24 Right Hand 1000 AAL

Visiting Aircraft Briefing:

Single engine aircraft only, sorry NO FLEX WING MICROLIGHTS.
Check your aircraft's performance is suitable to use Deanland's grass runway. The grass can be soft or very soft after rain.
Prior permission by phone mandatory - see "Contacts" page for numbers.
Circuits: Runway 24 Right Hand / Runway 06 Left Hand 1000 AAL.
Arrivals: Large circuits with a minimum of 1.5 mile final maintaining the runway extended centre line - see chart below. This means for runway 24 you MUST fly directly over the BP filling station at Golden Cross on the A22.
Departures: Climb accurately maintaining runway extended centre line for 1.5 miles before turning on-route - see chart below. Under no circumstances make early turns until you have passed directly over the BP filling station on the A22 when departing runway 06 - NOTE a 10 degree turn to track 070 off runway 06 is advisable.
Pilots who do not comply with Deanland's procedures will not be able to visit the airfield again
Make "joining and circuit calls" every time on "Deanland Radio" 129.725 - Keep a listening watch.
Be aware of model flying at the airfield.
Areas shown in Red on the chart shown below MUST BE AVOIDED AT ALL TIMES. Fly circuits accurately as shown on the chart.
Be aware of the private strip (Kittyhawk) 1 mile to the south west of Deanland.
Be aware of gliding site (Ringmer) west of Deanland.
One landing only, no training or local flights.
